Whether you are seeking:an "away from it all" accessible holiday experience, a holiday of rest and relaxation or a holiday of discovery and adventure. We believe that our accessible holiday villas in southern spainand region of Western Granada, Andalucía will have something to offer most guests.

Active Leisure

Guests seeking to participate in an active leisure pursuit during the course of their holiday will find that Western Granada/Andalucía has much to offer the most dedicated of enthusiasts.

Many active leisure pursuits, together with an instructor, are available for our guests to enjoy, be it a day spent canoeing, canyoning, mountain biking, climbing or potholing.

Alhambra Palace

No holiday to Andalucía is complete without at least one visit to the Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens.

Fiestas

Fiestas are a time of joy, celebration, fairgrounds, music, dancing and generally being merry. The local pueblos commence their annual fiesta celebrations as early as the month of March/April and the season of fiestas continues through until the month of October.

Across Spain the Easter Celebrations, Semana Santa, mark a particularly important celebration and time of year. The significance of the Easter celebrations in Spain has to be witnessed in order to be fully appreciated.

Film Library

As both the Granero and the Villa have a private outdoor cinema so too do they have private film libraries. Each film library is comprised of over 150 film titles, in DVD format, ranging from the latest blockbusters to all time classics and from "Jazz sessions" to "In Concert" collections.

Although the selection of films caters for guests of all ages, should you have a particular favourite film that you wish to watch under the Andalucian star lit skies please feel free to bring it on your Andalucian holiday.

Golf

The City of Granada Golf Club is situated less than 10 minutes drive from the City Centre and boasts a superb 18-hole golf course together with a modern and superb Club House. The Club offers guests many services and facilities including:

Horse Riding

In association with our specially selected English run horse riding and equestrian school guests can live the dream of trekking through the Andalucian countryside.

The horse riding and equestrian school is ideally situated for horse riding as guests can enjoy stunning mountain top rides with amazing views of Sierra Nevada to secluded valley trails for a refreshing picnic. Rides taken by the light of a full moon are a once in a lifetime experience, also climbing to the mountain top to watch the sun rise over the valley.

Music

Do not forget to bring your ipod/MP3 player, as both of our accessible holiday accommodations, The Granero & The Villa are equipped with ipod docking stations and audio systems so as to enable guests to enjoy their favourite tracks as they relax in the lounge or around their own private and accessible swimming pool.

Music Festival

For a number of years we have proudly co-sponsored the Parapanda Folk Festival.

The Parapanda Folk Festival, which is held in the pueblo of Íllora is a week long celebration of culture, heritage and vision through music, song and dance.

The Festival, which takes place during the last week of July, showcases both local, National and International artists as well as emerging talent.

Private Outdoor Cinemas

Whether you are holidaying in The Granero or The Villa, after a relaxing day around your own private, accessible swimming pool, taking the occasional dip to cool off, what better way is there to spend the evening with family or friends than enjoying your own private outdoor cinema.

Both of our holiday villas have a private outdoor cinema and many guests have commented upon how they have enjoyed the cooler and often late evenings watching a film under the Andalucian nights skies - sometimes being distracted by the abundance shooting stars in the skies above.

Accessible Swimming Pools - Private & Exclusive

Holidays are often a time for well deserved rest and relaxation and in support of such relaxation guests may be pleased to learn that each of our holiday accessible villas has an accessible and private pool. Private, being that guests have:

Not only are the pools private and for guests' exclusive pleasure but both pools are fully tiled and illuminated. The Villa's pool is also solar heated.

Accessible & Private Patios

Each of our accesible accommodations has a private sun patio complete with gas barbeque, sun loungers, table & chairs and parasol.

Accessible Restaurants

Though there are hundreds of restaurants in the City of Granada, and although - unfortunately we have not visited them all, we are able to advise guests on the restaurants we would recommend both in the City of Granada and the surrounding pueblos.

So whether you are seeking an accessible restaurant with a romantic atmosphere, a lively atmosphere, traditional atmosphere or perhaps a restaurant with stunning views of the surrounding countryside we are confident that we will be able recommend a venue.

We offer a free service of making your restaurant reservation and as an additional service we are able to provide private transfers to and from the restaurant of your choice.

Rest & Relaxation

If you are seeking a holiday of restful and relaxing holiday then our accessible accommodations and the location of our accommodations may be just what you are looking for.

The waterpark in Granada, just a short drive from our accessible holiday accommodations, is open from June through until September and makes for a great day out.

The facilities are clean and well organised; attractions for very young children include a Pirate Ship with small water slides and a wave pool with waves every 30 minutes.

For slightly older and more adventurous children as well as adults there are a number of water slides ranging from "rapid decent" water slides to twisting water slides one of which "The Black Pipe" water slide takes the 'riders' through a totally enclosed and hence dark cavern and tube before crashing out into the splash pool at the bottom.

Wildlife

Guests wishing to discover the flora and fauna of Andalucia my wish to pre-book a day or two out with our specially chosen wildlife enthusiast. This service must be pre-booked and is subject to availability.

Wintersports

The Sierra Nevada International Ski Resort is Europe’s most southerly ski resort and boasts 70 kilometres of ski slopes and 59 different ski runs – appealing to skiers of varying ability and skill.

Over one million people come to this Iberian Peninsula to enjoy a wide range of winter sports and swift and efficient access to the slopes is made via the Resort’s 20 modern ski lifts and perfect skiing conditions are maintained by the Resort’s 300 or more snow cannons.

So, be it skiing, snowboarding, endurance skiing, sledging or snow biking the Sierra Nevada has it all.
